David Broughton (far left) has gone on to be with our Lord.  In the hospital, he often quoted one of his favorite songs, "I'm a Winner Either Way."  He crossed over to the other side of Jordan on Monday, July 7, 2008 shortly before midnight.  Our prayers are with all of the Broughtons and Smiths and their extended families in this time of mourning.  What a day that will be when we'll join you in gloryland.

Thanks again for all your prayers for David. His viewing will be at Hoppers in Barbouville this Thursday night (7/10) from 6:30-9:00pm and the funeral will be at Sinking Valley Baptist Church in Barbourville at 1:00pm on Friday (7/11). *One of these days and it won't be long, we'll rejoin him in that song. We'll get together in the family circle singing loud.* Su

Thank you for your prayers,

The True Believers

True Believers
Bluegrass Gospel
Knox County, Kentucky

The True Believers is a local group with roots in Knox County, Kentucky.  We sing and play for God's glory at area churches and travel the occasional road trip for special events.  We enjoy what we do and we hope we touch the hearts of the people who hear our music.  Most of our repertoir can be found in a hymnal somewhere if you look hard enough, but we do have a few original songs written in part or whole by our members.
